Are you an experienced Head of Framing looking to take full ownership of a load bearing wall framing system and shape it from accreditation through to market leadership? We are recruiting a Head of Framing on behalf of a well-established UK manufacturer operating within the structural framing and SFS sector. This is a senior, influential role where the Head of Framing will lead the technical, commercial and strategic development of a load bearing wall framing system, positioning the business for long-term growth.
As Head of Framing, you will initially focus on building the foundations required for scalable delivery β accreditation, systems, internal capability and technical credibility. Once established, the role will naturally evolve into a broader leadership position, overseeing business development, estimating, design, delivery and commercial performance.
Over the first 12 months, the Head of Framing will be responsible for ensuring the system achieves all necessary approvals and is fully market-ready. This includes developing internal design and estimating functions, supporting the sales team with technical expertise, and identifying early commercial opportunities. As the business matures, the Head of Framing will take full ownership of the end-to-end operation, driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships and enhancing market presence within both load bearing framing and SFS infill solutions. There is also an opportunity to explore untapped SFS infill opportunities with existing clients, providing an accelerated route to market while the load bearing system continues to develop.
Key Objectives
- Accreditation & Compliance: Secure all relevant certifications and approvals, including SCI accreditation, fire testing, design sheets and technical literature.
- Capability Building: Establish robust internal design and estimating functions to support multiple enquiries and projects.
- Sales Enablement: Provide technical leadership and support to improve the sales teamβs confidence and effectiveness.
- Market Positioning: Strengthen market penetration within the load bearing sector and enhance reputation within SFS infill through technical excellence and client engagement.
- Revenue Growth: Drive sustainable sales growth through improved processes, technical support and commercial responsiveness.

Qualifications & Tools:
- HNC (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering

Benefits
This is a hybrid role designed to evolve over time. As the product becomes established, the role will naturally transition towards increased client engagement, business development and flexible working, with home working and site or client visits as required. This progression is intentional and designed to give the Head of Framing genuine authority, influence and long-term flexibility.
Package & Benefits:
