Reporting to the Team Leader, the Operator role covers the running of punch and press machinery to agreed design specifications and quality standards. This is a practical, active Operator position within an established production team.
Key responsibilities
- Operating punch and press machinery to required specifications
- Supporting the evaluation of engineering drawings
- Working towards individual and team production targets
- Completing safety checks and documentation to standard
- Carrying out TPM and reporting repair or servicing needs
- Moving material around the factory as needed
- Contributing to new working methods and process improvements
