We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work within our Waste Collection team based at Batchworth Depot, Rickmansworth. Applicants will be required to work as part of a team to collect all types of waste from residential properties and commercial businesses. This role requires being physically fit and prepared to work outside in all weathers. The post holder must demonstrate good interpersonal skills. No experience is necessary as training will be given. Due to the diversity of work and the high-profile nature of the services, the successful applicant will need to work well under pressure.
Three Rivers' newly adopted Values and Behaviours are extremely important to us, and therefore you must also be extremely polite and customer-focused whilst working in the public domain. Health and Safety is also paramount, and all employees will be issued with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and will undertake full induction training on the safe use of vehicles and lifting equipment and appropriate manual handling techniques upon commencement. You are required to display safe working techniques at all times.
