Three R's Teacher Recruitment is looking for a reliable and motivated part-time Recruitment Assistant to join our long-established agency. Joining our strong and friendly team of 5 at our Ashford head office, you'll have a varied role supporting both temporary and permanent teacher recruitment across Kent schools.

Your role will combine administrative duties (written, email, telephone), high quality customer service, support to the recruitment team as well as candidate support and general business assistance. Being in recruitment, we understand the importance of the ‘right match' and are hoping to find somebody who carries a strong work ethic with a bright personality. Support will be given to entry-level applicants to help you settle, grow and thrive in your role.

This role can accommodate 3-4 days (either Tuesday – Friday or Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday). Hours can offer flexibility for the right person, including accommodation for school runs or later starts, however availability to support the team through to the end of the working day is essential. Hours are until 6pm, or just after when required for business needs, but as a bonus if the day's work is completed early, the team often finishes at 5.45pm. This role is for term-time with reduced hours during school holidays, to be discussed on application.

Key Duties will be:

  • Supporting the recruitment and placement of Teachers and Teaching Assistants across Kent schools
  • Managing incoming calls and providing excellent customer service to schools and candidates
  • General administrative duties including formatting CV's, maintaining accurate database records, answering phone calls and responding to emails
  • Assisting consultants with candidate sourcing and recruitment processes to match our clients' recruitment needs to make successful placements
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with an emphasis on telephone-based sales. Maintain working relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for further business. Occasionally attending school visits alongside senior consultants

Essential Qualities are:

  • A strong work ethic with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Strong organisational, administrative and IT skills
  • Confident communication skills with a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous customer service, administration or telephone-based sales experience preferable
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. A company pool car will also be available for some duties
  • Availability to work part-time until the end of the working day
