With a collaborative culture and a modern finance function, they are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their established team. This role has arisen due to internal progression and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through strategic partnership with senior leaders.

You will work closely with key stakeholders, contributing to organisational financial objectives while supporting one of the organisation’s largest budgets.

This role can be offered on a 6-month temporary or fixed-term basis, with strong potential for extension or a permanent role in the future.

The Job

As Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate with senior leaders and departmental managers to support the creation and delivery of strategic financial objectives. This is a highly interactive role, ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-focused work and adding value across a business.

  • Advise leaders on financial targets, priorities and opportunities for growth and cost optimisation.
  • Provide scenario modelling, cost analysis and insights to support new business opportunities.
  • Analyse financial data, performance metrics and trends to recommend improvements.
  • Maintain and reconcile insurance claim records, assisting with annual renewals.
  • Oversee creditor payments, debtor receipts, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
  • Support fixed asset maintenance and process journals for shared ownership property transactions.
  • Administer and enhance finance systems and financial models.
  • Develop and update finance policies in line with regulations and organisational needs.
  • Support annual budgeting, audit preparation and financial compliance.
  • Build strong internal relationships to understand and support departmental financial needs.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Deliver and contribute to organisational and departmental finance projects.

You

You will be confident, communicative and proactive, with the ability to build trust and influence across the organisation. You will bring:

  • Qualified accountant status or equivalent experience
  • Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High accuracy, commercial awareness and sound judgement
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, VAT and data protection
  • An outgoing, partnership-driven approach – someone who adds real value beyond the numbers
