Three Bridges Recruitment is exclusively supporting a large, high-profile public sector partnership in Glasgow to appoint a Senior Finance Manager. This is a senior finance leadership role at the centre of a complex, multi-stakeholder organisation delivering essential services across the city. This is a high-impact role for a qualified (or part-qualified) accountant who enjoys stakeholder-facing work, strong budgeting discipline, and improving how finance supports frontline services. You’ll lead a joint finance team supporting major services, with responsibility for a significant portfolio (c. £320m).

What you’ll do
You’ll lead the team delivering high-quality financial management and decision support, including:
- Leading core cycles: budget setting, monitoring, forecasting, year-end and reporting
- Coordinating, challenging and consolidating financial information to support decision-making
- Providing clear financial advice on complex strategic, operational and governance matters
- Supporting transformation activity and business case development
- Building strong relationships across leadership & partners, influencing & constructively challenging
- A strong management accounting / business partnering focus: budget management, early issue-spotting, and helping stakeholders act on the story behind the numbers.
About you
You’ll likely bring:
- A professional accountancy qualification (or you’re actively working towards it)
- Strong budgeting/forecasting & stakeholder management experience in a complex environment
- Confidence leading teams and delivering through pressure and peak periods
- Sound judgement, resilience, and the ability to influence without creating friction
- Comfort operating in partnership-style environments (multiple stakeholders, governance, scrutiny)
