Your responsibilities will include: /p ul li Processing donations and payments with accuracy and care /li li Managing weekly payment runs for approval /li li Reviewing purchase ledger statements and carrying out reconciliations /li li Resolving queries in a warm, empathetic and professional manner /li li Creating and updating database records /li li Supporting administrative tasks including preparing letters and stakeholder communication /li li Handling financial transaction processing /li li Assisting the wider team with finance queries /li li Filing, scanning and general administration /li /ul p br /p p You will begin primarily office-based in Edinburgh, receiving close support as you settle in, with the option to transition to hybrid working after probation. /p p This is a strong 6-month temporary role /strong with genuine potential to become permanent. /p p br /p p strong u You /u /strong /p p As an Accounts Assistant, you will bring: /p ul li Strong communication skills and a high degree of empathy /li li A genuine desire to develop within a finance role /li li Basic finance experience and/or administration or customer service experience /li li A positive, can-do approach /li li Calmness under pressure and strong attention to detail /li li Good organisational skills and time management /li li Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel /li /ul p br /p p You’ll thrive here if you enjoy being part of a caring, values-driven team and take pride in delivering accurate, reliable work. /p p br /p p strong u About the Organisation /u /strong /p p This is a respected not-for-profit organisation with a long track record of supporting communities across Scotland.
