Three Bridges Recruitment is currently partnering with a global company, a leader in its field, to recruit an Accounts Assistant based in Glenrothes on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Job

The role of Accounts Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Processing BACS payments and managing supplier portals for cost capturing
  • Handling credit and debit transactions alongside bookkeeping and ledger maintenance
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier and customer credit accounts
  • Reviewing account balances and conducting ledger reconciliations
  • Managing bank transaction processing and reconciliations
  • Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
  • Assisting with month-end processes and contributing to year-end reporting
  • Resolving queries efficiently with internal teams and external stakeholders

You

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable/receivable or transactional finance roles
  • Good practical knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Confident grasp of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and reconciliations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is beneficial
  • Proactive and organised with an ability to meet deadlines
  • A positive, team-focused approach, suitable for a lively team environment
  • Flexibility to accommodate additional office days during critical financial periods
  • A driving licence is considered an advantage due to office location
