The role has a structured split, working with a specialist investment team & partly within the wider finance function. You'll lead financial reporting & valuations across an early-stage investment portfolio, alongside post-deal commercial finance, royalty auditing & risk evaluation. It's an unusual mix of technical accounting, valuations & commercial finance. You'll bring a commercial lens to investment methodology, pricing, fundraising & wider decision-making.

Job
This role will give you the opportunity to:
- Lead valuation & financial reporting across a portfolio of early-stage & non-trading investments
- Undertake fair value & group valuations, ensuring methodologies are robust
- Apply UK GAAP, FRS 102 & relevant investment guidance, including IPEV
- Support investment pricing, valuation xgikmsk decisions & fundraising activity
- Analyse portfolio performance & provide insight to support decision-making
- Lead relevant statutory, compliance & reporting activity
- Support financial data, reporting & information systems
- Provide post-deal finance support across a portfolio of commercial agreements
- Undertake commercial analysis, royalty audits & risk evaluations
