Receptionist
Three Bridges Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected charity to recruit an immediately available Receptionist on a temporary basis.
This is a great opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation in a key front-of-house role. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a warm and professional welcome while supporting the wider team with day-to-day administration.

Job
The role of Receptionist will give you the opportunity to be involved with:
- Managing the front-of-house reception and providing a warm welcome to visitors
- Answering incoming switchboard calls and directing enquiries appropriately
- Greeting visitors, customers and contractors
- Handling occasional sensitive or distressing calls calmly and empathetically before transferring callers to the appropriate support team
- Providing general administrative and office support
- Coordinating day-to-day office requirements, including lunch orders
- Directing visitors and helping with general enquiries
- Maintaining a professional and discreet approach when dealing with sensitive situations
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administrative duties
You
As Receptionist you will be skilled and/or experienced in the following:
- Previous reception, customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner
- Friendly, approachable and professional when dealing with a wide range of people
- Able to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and maturity
- Strong sense of discretion and appropriate professional boundaries
- Reliable and self-sufficient with the ability to work without close supervision
- Organised with a proactive approach to your work
- Comfortable working in a front-of-house environment
- Available to work on-site Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
- Available to start immediately or at very short notice
