What you’ll be doing as a Senior Engineering Manager:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion. Work closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to prioritize and plan feature development and releases.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance in software design, coding, and deployment. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in development processes, tools, and infrastructure. Implement CI/CD practices to enhance our delivery pipeline.
What you will bring to the Senior Engineering Manager role:
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Software engineering background in Python and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (FDD, Agile, Scrum).
