Threatscape’s Microsoft Security Practice is growing, and we are looking for a Consultant with strong technical expertise, excellent client-facing skills, and a passion for helping organisations strengthen their security posture through Microsoft technologies. You will work alongside some of the industry's leading experts, including five Microsoft MVPs, delivering high-quality security solutions and strategic guidance to our clients. For this role, the focus will be on Purview, data security, data governance, and AI.
This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in Microsoft Security consulting or a related technical role (3-5+ years), who has hands-on expertise in Microsoft Purview and a strong understanding of data security, data governance, and AI. You will be comfortable engaging directly with clients, leading technical discussions, and translating business requirements into effective security solutions. Above all, we value people who have high agency, contagious enthusiasm, communicate clearly, enjoy collaborating, are curious, proactive learners, and demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail. Key responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of Microsoft security engagements, with a focus on Purview, data security, data governance, and AI.
- Facilitate customer workshops, discovery sessions, demonstrations, and technical design discussions.
- Assess client environments, conduct security reviews and gap analyses, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Design and implement Microsoft security solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, reports, presentations, and implementation plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand and maximise the value of Microsoft Security technologies.
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution design, scoping, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues on internal initiatives, service development, tooling, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
What you need to succeed:
- 3-5+ years' experience in cybersecurity with a strong hands-on experience with Purview, including data security, information protection, data governance, compliance, and AI-related capabilities.
- Experience designing and delivering Microsoft security solutions in client-facing environments.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, and the wider Microsoft Security ecosystem.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading workshops, gathering requirements, and managing customer relationships.
- A genuine passion for cybersecurity, continuous learning, contribution to the security community, and helping drive the growth of our business.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are desirable, particularly in Microsoft Security, Compliance, Identity, and Purview-related disciplines.
