We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Security Consultant / Solution Architect to join our growing Microsoft Security Practice. This permanent position combines client-facing delivery, solution architecture, and practice development. Initially, you will play a key role in helping one of our clients enhance and mature their Microsoft Sentinel capability. Beyond this engagement, you will become a core member of our security team, delivering Microsoft Security projects across a range of customers while helping shape and grow our Sentinel offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Delivery
- Design, implement, and optimise Microsoft Sentinel solutions for enterprise customers.
- Lead Sentinel deployments, data source onboarding, automation development, and platform enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Sentinel, Logic Apps, and security integration challenges.
- Work closely with customers to define and deliver security monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
- Support the deployment and integration of Microsoft Defender technologies.
- Deliver broader Microsoft Security consulting, architecture, and implementation services across technologies such as Defender, Purview, Entra ID, and Azure Security, depending on customer requirements.
- Practice Development
- Help develop and expand our Microsoft Sentinel capability, services, and best practices.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, workshops, solution design, and customer engagements.
- Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across the Microsoft Security Practice.
- Stay current with Microsoft's evolving security portfolio and emerging technologies.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft Sentinel implementations in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience onboarding and integrating new Sentinel data sources.
- Hands-on expertise troubleshooting, optimising, and enhancing Sentinel deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender and its integration with Sentinel.
- Experience designing and implementing Logic Apps and Sentinel automation playbooks.
- Previous experience as a Security Consultant, Security Architect, or Solution Architect.
- Strong client-facing, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with one or more of the following: Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, Azure, Insider Risk Management, Abnormal Security, Microsoft Information Protection and Compliance solutions.
- Certifications: Ideally: SC-100 β Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, SC-200 β Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate.
