About the Role: The Channel Manager will be responsible for developing and managing a set network of channel partners to drive sales growth and market presence for our SaaS solutions. This role involves strategizing and executing channel programs, building strong partner relationships, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Channel Development: Implement channel partner onboarding processes and training programs. Inspire and manage channel partner enablement and associated tools and resources to support their sales efforts. Grow each partner's pipeline based on agreed quarterly goals.
- Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new defined channel partners. Act as the main point of contact for channel partners, addressing their needs and resolving any issues. Regularly meet with partners to review performance, discuss opportunities, and provide updates on new products or features.
- Sales and Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop co-branded marketing materials and campaigns for channel partners. Assist partners in creating and executing joint sales and marketing strategies to drive demand and lead generation. Monitor and support partner sales activities, ensuring they align with company goals and targets. Attend regional partner events and work closely with our sales team to identify quarterly channel events.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze channel performance metrics, including sales figures, lead generation, and partner engagement. Generate regular reports and insights on channel performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Implement strategies to address underperforming partners and capitalize on high-performing ones.
- Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy that aligns with overall company objectives and growth targets. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and partner needs. Propose and implement enhancements to the channel program based on feedback and performance data.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to channel management. Coordinate with the product team to gather feedback from partners and contribute to product development and improvements.
Reports to Head of Strategic Alliances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in channel management, partner sales, or business development within the SaaS industry.
- Background in cybersecurity channel sales a plus.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, sales cycles, and channel dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with channel partners and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and channel management tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
