About Columbia Threadneedle Investments

Working at Columbia Threadneedle Investments you'll find growth and career opportunities across all of our businesses. We're intentionally built to help you succeed. Our reach is expansive with a global team of 2,300 people working together. Our capability is diverse with more than 550 investment professionals sharing global perspectives across all major asset classes and markets. Our clients have access to a broad array of investment strategies, and we have the capability to create bespoke solutions matched to clients' specific requirements. Our unwavering focus on our clients and strong financial foundation connects each of our enterprise businesses — Ameriprise Financial, Columbia Threadneedle Investments and RiverSource Insurance and Annuities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and high-performing real estate fund management team in our Thames River Capital business as their Personal Assistant. You'll be at the heart of everything the team does - keeping things running smoothly, solving problems before they arise, and making a real, tangible impact every single day. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love variety in your work, and take pride in being the person everyone can rely on, this could be the perfect role for you. This role is based at our offices in Mayfair at Woodstock Street.

What You'll Be Doing…

  • Diary & Calendar Management — You'll be the master of the team's schedules, coordinating meetings with sell-side analysts, real estate companies, clients and the sales team, managing conference registrations, booking travel, and ensuring the week ahead always runs like clockwork. You'll also track key market dates — from central bank policy announcements to MSCI and EPRA index releases — keeping the team one step ahead.
  • Meeting Logistics — From greeting guests and setting up meeting rooms to arranging restaurant bookings, you'll ensure every meeting makes a great impression. You'll also support larger events such as Board Meetings and AGM, coordinating all the details from start to finish.
  • Invoice & Financial Administration — You'll manage invoice processing, coordinate approvals, maintain accurate records, and liaise with external parties including auditors. Attention to detail is key here, and your work will directly support the smooth financial operation of the funds.
  • Compliance & PR Support — You'll help keep the team on the right side of regulatory requirements by managing monthly commentaries, press releases, website content and LinkedIn posts with our compliance team and PR consultants.
  • Travel Coordination — You'll research and book travel for roadshows, property tours and conferences across the UK, Europe and the US, ensuring the team can focus on what they do best.
  • Office & Team Support — You'll be the go-to person for keeping the office environment running smoothly - from IT liaison and facilities management to ordering supplies and organising team socials and the annual Christmas party.

What We're Looking For…

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Senior PA, ideally within financial services or asset management
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines without dropping the ball
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset — you anticipate needs rather than waiting to be asked
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling financial and compliance-related tasks
  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders, external partners and clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and AI adoption.
  • A warm, professional manner and a genuine team-player attitude
