The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are looking to hire 2x Investment Managers to work within our Real Estate Investment team. In this role you will focus on portfolio management responsibilities, for a number of funds across the risk/return spectrum from Core to Opportunistic / Value add.
How you'll spend your time:
- Originate and evaluate real estate investment opportunities aligned with the firm’s strategy.
- Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on potential acquisitions.
- Lead transaction execution, including deal structuring, negotiation, and coordination with legal, tax, and technical advisors.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Real Estate sectors, their mechanics and markets within the UK & potentially Europe.
- Identify trends to support investment decisions and communicate these via research reports, thought leadership pieces and investment committee papers.
- Support the Fund Management team by taking responsibility for the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, and research papers covering economic and commercial property market trends, fund returns, purchases and sales activity, asset management activity, etc. for both internal boards and external investor presentations.
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of relevant fund objectives, philosophies, and investment strategies.
- Contribute to the collective market intelligence through the accumulation, origination, interpretation and presentation of relevant research.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing forums including weekly investment meetings, and monthly business update meetings.
- Track market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to inform investment decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with agents, developers, institutional investors, and other market participants.
- Support on the growth agenda to launch new funds and win new mandates.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous investment experience.
- Desire to work in a dynamic team environment.
- Able to support and contribute to client engagement with in-depth knowledge of existing relevant Funds, investment strategy and market knowledge.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- PowerPoint / Presentation capability.
- Financial modelling experience.
