The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be responsible for managing investment consultant relationships in order to attain and maintain buy ratings, working alongside two consultant relations directors and two support associates. You will have primary coverage of tier 3 consultant firms with the ability to be alternate for tier 1 and 2 firms when required. You should be comfortable and/or have a willingness to discuss multiple channels with consultants e.g. DC, DB, OCIO, charities, etc. You will be able to identify research priorities. You will work in partnership with the Sales team to optimise the field consultant strategy for their firms to monetise buy ratings or defend client assets.
Responsibilities:
- Attain new product ratings and maintain buy rated products with consultant research teams with focus on priority products as defined by UK Institutional and Insurance sales strategy.
- Contribute to UK Institutional team revenue targets by executing consultant plan in partnership with Sales team.
- Contribute to all stages of a new business opportunity – consultant research, RFI, RFP, presentation production/prep and fee negotiations.
- Assist Consultant Support when required to ensure follow ups and query management are done.
- Provide firm and market feedback proactively to the broader business and formulate plans to remove any obstacles.
- Identify new product opportunities for the channels covered by the team.
- Work in partnership with investment management and marketing to deliver high quality, targeted content to achieve trusted advisor status.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
- Leverage the time and resources of the investment teams effectively.
To be successful in this role you will have...
- Experience in consultant relations.
- Prior industry experience.
- Be familiar with key trends in the UK Institutional market and able to promote product and the firm across the respective channels.
- The ability to lead research and field consultant meetings.
- The ability to work in collaboration with sales, marketing and investments to maintain and gain consultant ratings and clients.
- IMC preferred.
