We’re looking for a bright, motivated university graduate to join our growing team in Wanstead as a graduate trainee accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career in accountancy and gain hands‑on experience in both accounts preparation and audit while working towards your ACA qualification (ICAEW). You will work directly with experienced accountants and directors, developing technical knowledge and client‑handling skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting the Bookkeeping team
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- Assisting in the preparation of corporation and personal tax returns
- Supporting the production of management accounts and financial reports
- Using industry-leading software including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, IRIS, and Excel
- Liaising with HMRC and other third parties as needed
- Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality services to a varied portfolio of clients
- Learning and applying knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 105, and tax legislation
- Receiving ongoing support and mentoring while completing your ACA studies
