As a trusted advisor to a client’s senior executives, you will partner with them to understand their context and needs, make recommendations, and provide advice and hands-on experience to become a product-led organisation.
You will seek and synthesise inputs from a wide range of roles and levels in the client organisation to evaluate the current state of product strategy, development, design, and delivery and outline the highest priority focus areas for change across people, process, structure, and technology.
You will drive a product thinking mindset across and own the overall product development lifecycle, utilising lean and agile approaches to identify, conceptualise and pilot new products, with sustainable business models in an iterative fashion, and rapidly launch roadmap increments that deliver undeniable value.
You will create and manage the portfolio or product strategy & roadmap: effectively prioritise business opportunities from a wide range of inputs, understand and prioritise the work so that teams are always working on the most impactful initiatives.
You will cultivate meaningful relationships with client stakeholders across product, design and engineering, bridging technical and business worlds.
You will help contextualise the relevant product and design TW offerings to solve the client problems and support the GTM to actively expand footprint in current clients and grow new clients.
You will create points of view and case studies through insights on client needs and solutions, alongside creating assets and accelerators to create repeatability to scale our efforts and credentialise Thoughtworks’ expertise to the wider industry.
You will be heavily involved in pre-sales, creating proposals and pitches, shaping engagements for clients and helping to educate both clients and colleagues about the value of our services.
Job qualifications
Technical Skills
- You have a track record of delivering successful products to market.
- 8+ years of product leadership experience, overseeing multiple product teams and/or a portfolio of products and leading a team of product managers.
- You have deep expertise in the end-to-end product development lifecycle, agile and lean software development practices.
- You have the ability to operate at company, portfolio and product level — shaping a vision, defining and executing a strategy, and translating it into a roadmap with clear business and customer value-based measures of success.
- You have a strong understanding of what it takes to become a value-driven, customer-centric product organisation and experience in planning and running organisation-level or business unit level transformation efforts.
- You evangelize product thinking, leveraging your extensive expertise to advise product & technology leaders, coach product teams, introduce best practices, identify roadblocks and generate solutions for resolving them quickly.
- You have expertise and prior background in developing new revenue streams, leading new ideas from concept to launch and scale including go-to-market strategy.
- You have experience in commercial and economic modelling, including monetisation strategy.
- You are adept at leveraging data to improve one's understanding of user needs, product performance and value created for the customer.

- You’re skilled at building relationships with C-suite executives and confident in driving conversations at the intersection of technology and business.
- You have proven experience in the BFSI sector, with a strong focus on banking products and platforms, is required.
- You have strong storytelling skills and can create compelling narratives for the problem at hand and also elevate the problem space to build a bigger picture.
- You’re able to formulate and deliver insights around complex business problems in a thoughtful and persuasive manner.
- You enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and can operate as an advisory but also as a hands-on practitioner.
- You have strong interpersonal skills — active listening, persuading and empathising with others and excellent written and verbal communication.
