We are seeking a Solutions Consultant with 3–5 years of experience to support our technical sales efforts across the EMEA region. In this role, you will drive business value for prospects and existing customers by demonstrating how Mode’s products and services help achieve strategic business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success selling technical solutions to enterprise customers, preferably in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Analytics. You will have a strong understanding of how technology solves business challenges, a consultative approach to sales, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Understand customers’ analytic goals and challenges through effective discovery
- Present and articulate the business value of the Mode platform to stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrate Mode’s products in ways that clearly differentiate us from competitors
- Conduct product evaluations with customers, helping them analyse their own data
- Share knowledge and best practices across the team to drive collective success
- Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously
- Take initiative, be self-motivated, and adapt to changing priorities
- Partner with Sales to plan and execute account strategy
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customer champions and Mode Account Executives, ensuring alignment with both customer and company success
What You Bring:
- Proven success in a customer-facing sales or pre-sales role
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL; familiarity with JavaScript or Python preferred
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
- Hands-on experience with database technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Synapse, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar
- Experience with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend timely solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills for both technical and business audiences
- Broad understanding of cloud computing benefits
- Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment
- Ambitious, curious, and self-motivated, with strong sales and technical acumen
- Highly coachable with a desire to continuously improve
- Strong initiative, positive attitude, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel as required

This office-assigned role is available as a hybrid position, reporting to the office in UK - London.
