Overview
As AI Outcomes Architect, you define and govern the technical blueprint across a portfolio of ThoughtSpot accounts. You set standards, lead design reviews, and shape roadmaps to ensure secure, scalable, and consistent deployments of Liveboards, Spotter agents, and Data Apps. You work closely with outcomes managers and deployment teams to guide the most complex accounts and translate field learnings into product feedback. This role combines hands-on architecture with leadership across cross-functional teams to drive impactful, enterprise-scale analytics outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define overall architecture, data model standards, and governance for all deployments
- Lead architecture and design reviews to ensure health, performance, and security across accounts
- Create and maintain a technical roadmap and reusable patterns for analysts and deployment teams
- Serve as escalation point for complex technical problems in data models, security, or performance at scale
- Mentor and guide analysts, sharing patterns and elevating team capabilities
- Lead technical strategy for enterprise-scale engagements with high risk
- Own portfolio view and translate learnings into product/engineering feedback
- Collaborate with AI Outcomes Managers, Deployment Managers, Analysts, and product/engineering teams to keep architectures sound as they scale
- Champion governance and reference architectures to ensure secure and performant deployments
Key requirements
- 5 years in solution architecture, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing senior role
- Experience delivering complex data and analytics implementations at scale, preferably in SaaS or enterprise BI environments
- Expert-level fluency with BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Looker, Sigma) and data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Google BigQuery)
- Strong SQL and data/semantic modeling skills, with knowledge of data warehousing concepts and security/governance patterns
- Experience mentoring or guiding other builders and elevating team capabilities
- Collaborative experience with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering
- Consultative mindset with ability to ask questions and challenge technical assumptions
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced certifications are a plus
- In-office presence 3+ days/week in ThoughtSpot offices (as applicable)
