Role Overview
Due to growth, we are looking for a Commercial Account Executive who will sell software and services in the Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Analytics space. The right candidate will work independently in a rapidly growing environment and have a value‑based sales approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a territory of Digital Native Mid Market accounts with a primary focus on winning new ThoughtSpot customers.
- Generate pipeline through prospecting, developing new opportunities, and establishing trust and credibility with end‑users, influencers, and decision makers.
- Conduct product demonstrations in person and via web‑based technologies.
- Manage complex sales cycles with large companies.
- Leverage AI‑powered sales tools to identify, prioritize, and engage accounts; use AI‑driven analytics to refine value propositions; personalize outreach at scale; collaborate with marketing and customer success teams; experiment with emerging AI tools to streamline processes, improve forecasting, and drive quota attainment.
Qualifications
- 1‑3 years quota‑carrying experience in a technology sales environment (inside sales a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Experience selling technology solutions priced at $50,000+.
- Leadership qualities, high energy, and the ability to influence others.
- Ability to track sales metrics and use them for continuous improvement.
- Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to manage a large book of business.
- Ability to synthesize AI insights for tailored messaging and value propositions.
- Growth mindset and passion for experimenting with new technologies.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree (or higher).
- Fluent in French or Dutch.
Mandatory AI Literacy
- Integrate AI into daily workflow to increase productivity and quality.
- Hands‑on experience using industry‑leading LLMs to automate routine tasks.
- Effective prompt‑writing skills.
- Understanding of when AI should be used versus human judgment.
