What you\’ll bring to the team:
Location: Thorpe Park,
Hours: Full time, part time, weekends & holidays
Contract Type: Seasonal, until November 2025
Our security team play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests and staff have a safe and enjoyable day out at Thorpe Park. We promote a diverse culture and our security officers must be role models in exceptional guest service and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct bag checks and personal searches
- Patrol the resort being vigilant for any threats to the safety of the park.
- Respond to incidents in a professional and timely manner
- Work closely with the on – site First Aid team to ensure a smooth operation in any emergency response situations.
- Asset Transfers
- Be prepared to work alongside Surrey Police in a proactive operation and on the park to reduce anti social behaviour across the park.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MUST have SIA Door Supervision licence to apply
- Must be over the age of 18
- Be able to use De-Escalation skills and conflict management in conjunction with SIA training to provide the best outcome.
- Crowd management skills are essential.
- Remain flexible in relation to working hours.
- Be approachable and confident
- Willing to drive standards
- Motivated to work closely with other departments on a daily basis
