Reporting to the Commercial Specialists, the Commercial Coordinator provides essential support across commercial and operational activities, ensuring the accuracy of revenue reporting, data analysis, operational tracking, and administrative processes. The role is responsible for maintaining commercial records, monitoring equipment performance, managing digital pricing updates, overseeing online order activity, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the business. The position also plays a key role in cash management, coordinating the secure collection and reconciliation of cash from touchless cash machines across multiple locations. Responsibilities include monitoring machine cash levels, ensuring sufficient change availability, maintaining accurate cash records, and investigating discrepancies to support strong financial controls and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and administrative skills.
Key responsibilities
- Stock Allocation and Management: Oversee Online Shop operations, including inbox monitoring, order coordination, and packing oversight. Monitor stock availability and allocation to support operational requirements and guest demand. Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve stock discrepancies, delayed orders, or fulfilment issues.
- Merchandising and Pricing: Ensure pricing accuracy and consistency between systems, promotional material, and physical/digital displays. Support merchandising initiatives by ensuring promotional displays and pricing communications are current and compliant. Assist in identifying pricing discrepancies and implementing corrective actions promptly.
- Compliance and Standards Audits: Monitor equipment breakdown logs and coordinate action plans for issue resolution and follow-up. Identify reporting discrepancies and assist in implementing process improvements. Support cross-functional teams with reporting, data validation, and general operational administration. Conduct regular audits and reviews of service and standards within Commercial units across the park, providing actions and feedback. Coordinate the collection, reconciliation, and secure handling of cash from touchless cash machines across operational locations. Monitor cash levels within machines to ensure adequate stocking and availability of change at all times. Maintain accurate records of cash collections, float allocations, discrepancies, and machine balances.
- Operational Excellence: Generate and analyse FT Scan Reports and KK Reports for operational and commercial performance tracking. Compile and distribute Weekly Commercial Reports across zonal operations. Provide and organize data required for Weekly Operational Review reporting, business reviews and management reporting requirements. Monitor key operational metrics and provide insights to support decision-making and performance improvements. Assist management with ad hoc reporting, data analysis, and operational coordination tasks.
- Partner and Vendor Management: Prepare and maintain 3rd Party Revenue Reports with accuracy and timeliness. Maintain and update OCS logs for HBL and Photos operations. Support the maintenance and operational readiness of touchless cash machines by escalating faults and coordinating service requirements.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee and create contractor permits for any scheduled works, ensuring documentation is compliant with company requirements and policies. Supporting the Commercial Specialists and Warehouse & Logistics team to ensure any stock discrepancies are highlighted, investigated and rectified in a timely manner.
- Health & Safety: Oversee compliance of policies and procedures set forth within the Merlin Entertainments Group Health, Safety and Security Policy. Understand risk assessments and ensure reporting of any new risks as appropriate. In cases of incidents or accidents ensure appropriate reporting is done in a timely and accurate manner. Actively share ideas, comments, and suggestions for improving safety within their work areas with their appropriate line manager.

- Proven experience in a commercial administration role.
- Familiarity with inventory management and pricing systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interfacing with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of local legislative requirements and compliance standards.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and reporting software.
