Overview
If you are looking for a step into a Senior Sales Co-ordinator role within a well renowned luxury 4-star hotel, this position could be for you.
Reporting to the Sales Office Manager you will gain exposure in one of the largest revenue-generating areas of the business – conference and events sales.
Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Office Manager with the management of the team.
- Support with the training and development of the sales team, focusing on conference and events.
- Manage day-to-day activity of the booking cycle.
- Understand and enforce the agreed bedrooms/events/treatment and restaurant sales strategies.
- Undertake KPI reporting to the agreed company standard.
- Foster strong relationships with agents and guests alike.
- Be familiar with all hotel facilities and services to advise guests/clients how best to enhance their stay/visit.
- Respond to enquiries using knowledge of the hotel’s products and services, providing proposals to best suit guests/clients’ needs.
- Manage bookings from initial enquiry through to handover to the operational team on arrival of the event/stay.
- Develop knowledge of the hotel’s conference and events product offerings and rate strategies.
- Conduct hotel show rounds to showcase the hotel’s unique selling points.
- Communicate with guests/clients with warmth and hospitality to deliver an authentic and genuine experience.
- Work as part of a sales team to drive and achieve sales targets.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced and passionate sales coordinator, from a busy conference or events office who is keen to develop their career.
You will have a flair for organisation, an eye for attention to detail and great communication skills.
Ideally you will have hotel experience, as well as experience working with Opera, Restaurant booking systems and Fourth Hospitality.
You will have a proven ability to maximise business levels, be analytical with KPI’s and reporting.
