Working as a key member of the Business Systems team, you will safeguard the reliability and performance of core applications by combining analysis, configuration, and development with responsive support.
You’ll contribute across the full lifecycle, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and change control while serving as an escalation point and engaging stakeholders across the business.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Performing business systems analysis and configuration, identifying and delivering improvements.
- Analysing, designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining business systems, including interfaces and reporting solutions.
- Providing structured lifecycle maintenance (configuration, testing, feedback reporting) to ensure stability and continuous improvement.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues in line with controls and procedures, documenting work to a high standard.
- Applying formal change control; define, track, and close issues effectively.
- Acting as an escalation point for the Business Systems team.
- Maintaining detailed knowledge of Business Systems and ERP; document business processes and technical designs.
- Supporting Business Systems and ERP environments, including scheduled, frequency?based activities (e. g., month?end).
- Visiting operational/process locations as required.
Desirable skills & experience
- Degree in an IT related discipline (or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience in a similar Business Systems role.
- Hands on analysis, configuration, integration, maintenance, and support of Business Systems and ERP.
- Strong documentation of Business Systems/ERP processes and solutions.
- Experience in a senior Business Systems position.
- Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, and sales systems.
- Business Systems/ERP lifecycle management and improvement projects.
- Business Systems & ERP analysis, development, process design, configuration, deployment, and integration.
- Effective 2nd/3rd line support for Business Systems & ERP.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management.
