We are looking to speak with experienced Management Accountants for a role in Aberdeen with a growing manufacturing company. Key duties include month-end processes, VAT submissions, cash flow management, and KPI reporting. Proficiency in Sage and Excel is essential. Ideal for a proactive professional who integrates finance with operations. This is a permanent role and office based position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing first stage management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and actioning reconciling items.
- Monitoring P&L and balance sheet actuals vs budget, ensuring all month-end activities (e.g., bank, cash, sales ledger, etc.).
- Providing proactive finance support to operations, including daily reporting and assisting with credit control functions.
- Preparing and submitting BACS payment runs, VAT, Intrastat, and other governmental surveys, and liaising with utility companies.
- Managing inventory reconciliations, ledgers, and weekly cycle counts, and update exchange rates in Sage.
- Providing key reports to manufacturing, purchasing, and sales departments, including sales analysis and stock reports.
- Handling credit control, including aged debtors reporting and collections, and prepare weekly and monthly cash and sales reports for management.
