We’re excited to be recruiting a Property Manager to join our Estate Agency team in Inverness at a time of continued growth across the Highland market. As client demand continues to increase, this role offers an excellent opportunity to expand our Estate Agency offering and play a key part in our growth in Inverness. It’s a role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, meeting clients, spotting opportunities, and supporting homeowners as they take their first step towards a successful sale. You’ll represent Thorntons in the local community, shape first impressions, build relationships across the sector, combining your local market insight with the support, reputation, and reach of a leading Scottish firm.
It’s about:
- Winning New Instructions – Engaging confidently with homeowners, carrying out property visits and appraisals, and providing tailored advice that turns conversations into listings.
- Building Lasting Relationships – Developing trusted relationships with clients and your wider local network to generate repeat business, referrals, and cross-firm opportunities.
- Property Appraisal & Marketing Insight – Using your eye for detail and market knowledge to assess properties, identify key selling points, and contribute to compelling property marketing.
- Client Advice & Consultations – Guiding homeowners through pricing, presentation, and preparation for sale, ensuring they feel informed, confident, and supported.
- Managing the Listing Journey – Overseeing the process from first contact to listing readiness, delivering a smooth and positive experience for every client.
- Seamless Handover to Sales – Working closely with sales negotiators to ensure properties are perfectly positioned for market.
- Local Market Knowledge – Staying on top of local trends, buyer demand, and comparable sales to inform pricing and maximise results.
- Driving Growth in Inverness – Building on our strong local base by proactively identifying new opportunities, winning instructions, and strengthening our presence across the Highland property market.
What you’ll need:
- A natural ability to build rapport and relationships with clients and other contacts, including developers.
- Strong knowledge of (or a real appetite to learn) the local Inverness and/or wider Highlands property market.
- A well-organised, adaptable approach with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and face-to-face.
- A passion for delivering great client service and achieving results.
- Confident administrative and IT skills to keep sales and marketing activity running smoothly.
- A full driving licence is required.
