You’ll work on temporary works design, erection engineering, construction sequencing, and steel connection design for a wide range of projects, from high-rise towers and stadiums to cultural and healthcare facilities. You’ll deepen your technical expertise, expand your project responsibilities, and gain exposure to client interactions and elements of project management.
What You’ll Do
- Perform structural engineering tasks for construction engineering projects, including temporary works systems and steel connection design of increasing complexity.
- Evaluate load paths in both permanent and temporary conditions, including partially erected structures and non-standard configurations.
- Develop and refine construction engineering documents in a BIM environment, solving non-routine challenges and ensuring quality through thoughtful self-review.
- Collaborate proactively with contractors, fabricators, and design teams to develop practical, constructible solutions for complex structures and challenging erection conditions.
- Expand your project exposure by observing client interactions, gaining insight into scopes, services, and fee structures, and building a strong professional network within TT and across the industry.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of structural engineering experience with exposure to construction engineering and/or steel connection design.
- Growing proficiency in tools such as SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, RISA-3D, Revit, AutoCAD, and construction-focused software (e.g., Navisworks).
- Effective communication with a proactive approach to workload, mentoring, and skill development.
- Initiative to deepen your expertise in both technical and project delivery fundamentals.
