Hours: Full Time or Part Time (Minimum 2-3 days per week)

About The Role

Our client is a growing construction contractor seeking an experienced Public Sector Bid & Framework Coordinator to manage and develop our public sector procurement pipeline. This role will focus on identifying, monitoring and coordinating tender opportunities across Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Public Sector Frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPSs), while maintaining procurement registrations, compliance records and tender documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor procurement portals and identify relevant tender opportunities.
  • Manage supplier registrations, framework memberships and DPS applications.
  • Maintain company compliance documents, policies, accreditations and insurance records.
  • Coordinate PQQs, SQs, framework applications and tender submissions.
  • Develop and maintain a library of tender responses, case studies and supporting documents.
  • Track opportunities, framework renewals and procurement activity.
  • Liaise with Directors, estimators and external bid support to gather submission information.
  • Build relationships with framework providers, local authorities and housing associations.
  • Support business development activities and market research within the public sector.

Essential Experience

  • 2+ years' experience in a Bid Coordinator, Tender Coordinator, Framework Coordinator or similar role.
  • Experience with public sector procurement and tendering processes.
  • Knowledge of procurement portals and e-tendering systems.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.

Desirable Experience

  • Construction, refurbishment, social housing or property sector experience.
  • Knowledge of public sector frameworks and DPSs.
  • Experience with Contracts Finder, Find a Tender, Proactis, Delta eSourcing, In-Tend, Fusion21, CHIC, LHC and similar platforms.
  • Understanding of social value requirements and public sector quality submissions.
