Job Purpose: To provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents while supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the home. The Senior Carer will lead shifts, supervise care staff, and ensure all care standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support care staff during shifts
- Deliver and oversee person-centred care in line with Service User’s care plans
- Administer and manage medication in accordance with company / NHS policy
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, residents, and families
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding policies
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing of all residents
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Senior Carer
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good understanding of care standards and safeguarding
- Right to work in the UK

- Experience working with older adults and mental health conditions
