They are seeking a Paralegal to join their Family Law Department. As a Paralegal, you will be involved in a variety of cases including divorce, financial remedy disputes, civil partnership disputes, rights of unmarried and cohabitating couples, private law children disputes, and domestic abuse. This role excludes child care work, allowing you to focus on other critical aspects of family law.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Paralegal in the Family Law Department, you will assist with new enquiries, support legal surgery sessions, and undertake fee-earning work on client matters under appropriate supervision. You will also handle administrative tasks, deal with applications for funding from the Legal Aid scheme, and contribute to the department's marketing efforts, including networking with local external agencies. The role offers a market-rate salary, dependent on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 25 days holiday per annum, bank holidays, a loyalty holiday scheme, and the ability to buy additional holidays. Additional benefits include a contributory pension scheme, annual discretionary bonus, non-contributory death in service scheme, Paycare Scheme, flexi-lunch, and enhanced sick pay.
