An established UK hotel group is embarking on an exciting transformation project to prepare its reservations and front office functions for the adoption of AI-powered technologies. As part of this initiative, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to assess current processes, systems, and data structures, helping the business understand what changes are required before AI agents can be successfully introduced into day-to-day operations. This is a highly visible project that will involve working closely with operational and technology stakeholders to map existing workflows, identify opportunities for automation, and create a roadmap for AI readiness.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analyse and document current reservations and front office processes
- Map end-to-end workflows across customer interactions and operational activities
- Assess existing data structures and identify gaps that may impact future AI initiatives
- Engage with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and understand operational challenges
- Identify opportunities to automate reservation calls, email enquiries, and routine operational tasks
- Produce recommendations on process improvements and AI readiness
- Support the creation of future-state operating models and workflow
- Document business requirements and transformation opportunities
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions across multiple functions
What We're Looking for
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on business transformation or technology-led projects
- Strong process mapping and business requirements gathering experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working across operational and technology teams
- Ability to analyse complex business processes and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Comfortable operating within discovery and assessment-focused projects
Desirable Experience
- Experience within hospitality, hotels, travel, leisure, or customer service-led environments
- Exposure to automation, digital transformation, or AI-related initiatives
- Understanding of reservations, customer service, contact centre, or front office operations
Additional Information
- Hybrid role with travel to London required several days per week
- Candidates must already have the right to work in the UK
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Initial 3–6 month engagement with potential for extension
