Now, we’re happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Credit Controller. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Vimto Gardens, Manchester and you will have a salary of £24,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue balances in line with internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of account activity, payments, and communications.
- Issue statements, reminders, and correspondence in accordance with company policy.
- Liaise professionally with clients, customers, and internal teams to resolve payment queries.
- Investigate discrepancies, disputes, and payment issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Agree payment arrangements where appropriate and monitor adherence.
- Produce regular reports on aged balances, trends, and account status.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to reduce future risk.
- Provide support to the wider Client Accounts team with administrative and ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer-facing role.
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role would be ideal.
