With our team’s extensive industry expertise and local knowledge, we’re here to help people find, sell, and let their property. Now, we’re happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Credit Controller. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Vimto Gardens, Manchester and you will have a salary of £24,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue balances in line with internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of account activity, payments, and communications.
- Issue statements, reminders, and correspondence in accordance with company policy.
- Liaise professionally with clients, customers, and internal teams to resolve payment queries.
- Investigate discrepancies, disputes, and payment issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Agree payment arrangements where appropriate and monitor adherence.
- Produce regular reports on aged balances, trends, and account status.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to reduce future risk.
- Provide support to the wider Client Accounts team with administrative and ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer-facing role.
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role would be ideal.
