Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Driver role based in London. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods to customers and partner locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include loading and unloading items, verifying delivery documentation, handling goods with care, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections. The role involves interacting with customers in a courteous manner, addressing basic inquiries, and representing the company professionally at all times. The Delivery Driver will also be expected to perform basic vehicle checks, follow health and safety procedures, and collaborate with warehouse and sales staff to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with a diverse range of customers.
- Experience or familiarity with Forklift Operation and safe handling of goods is beneficial for loading and unloading tasks.
- Ability to participate in and support Training activities, including learning company procedures and safety protocols.
- Basic understanding of Sales and Food & Beverage operations is an advantage, particularly when delivering to retail or hospitality clients.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and confidence driving in urban environments.
- Good time management, reliability, and attention to detail when following routes and completing delivery documentation.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move packages safely, using appropriate equipment where required.
- Ability to work on-site in London, follow health and safety guidelines, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
