Role:

You’ll be joining the NPD department and take on agreed design projects within the team. The role involves ironing out issues with current products, and implementing NPD processes to keep their product range at the leading edge of the market place. The current focus is on re-design of current products. The role will transition into a leadership and management role of the department over an agreed timescale. Here, you’ll get involved with driving the project road-map, reporting on project progress, assisting team members and in line with market trends and compliance, ensure future products are at the forefront of their industry.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally you’ll have 1-2 years experience of working in new product department or product design team for mechanical products & components.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ambition and capability of managing a small team.
  • Degree qualified in mechanical engineering or related subject.
  • An understanding of heating/cooling products and methodology.

Package:

A basic salary in the c£38-48k bracket, pending experience. 25 days holiday.

Location:

This role is based in Essex, near to Chelmsford. Ideal allocations are: Chelmsford, Maldon, Basildon, Braintree, Harlow, Colchester.
