Are you a Service Engineer or Commissioning Engineer looking to forge a career off the tools in Technical Sales? Or are you a Service Sales Engineer working for a manufacturer or another Applied Air Conditioning Contractor, and looking to join a large stable company with scope to progress into more senior positions.

THE COMPANY

One of the foremost companies in their sector. Rapid growth over the last few years has enabled them to compete on a national scale. This combined with recent service offerings such as remote monitoring and best in class technical problem solving skills enables them to be a true market leader in the Applied Air Conditioning Service sector.

THE ROLE

This is a great role for a technical person who is good with customers. It's not too heavy on the sales side, and it also has a real technical bias to it. The role involves:

  • Working with around 50 to 60 customers to make sure their Service Contracts for Applied Air Conditioning Products (Chillers and Heat Pumps) are running smoothly and renewed.
  • Making sure that you maximise revenue from existing customers by offering upgrades to their kit.
  • Maximising leads for the rental and project departments.
  • Going round and seeing your customers on a regular basis to understand their issues.

THE PERSON

Ideally off the tools (Service / Commissioning Engineer) but also would consider other Sales focused people who have experience of selling service contracts for Chillers and/or Commercial Heat Pumps. Good customer skills and driven to hit targets. Not suitable for someone with Splits or VRF project Sales or Service/Commissioning experience.

THE PACKAGE

Basic to £75K depending on experience. Bonus to £30K depending on performance. Good company car or allowance. Good pension and holidays. Private medical. Life insurance. Company credit card for expenses.

THE LOCATION

To cover the East and West Midlands and living near Birmingham, Cannock, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, or Coventry or Wolverhampton.
