THE ROLE
- Responsible for operations and development of a dedicated marketing team within the UK business.
- Tasked with ensuring marketing processes are robust, with a focus on managing operational tasks.
- Input into strategic change and re-organisation of the department and processes as required.
- Managing the product portfolio from a marketing perspective to include product management, channel, communications, digital, social media & PR/promotions.
- Liaison and oversee works with a dedicated marketing agency to ensure best return on investment for appropriate promotion via media channels.
- Full P&L responsibility, with regular reporting, business planning, cost analysis to include some travel to Europe as required.
THE PERSON
- We are seeking a marketing manager, with experience of running a team, that is commercially savvy and able to operate in a corporate setting.
- You will come from a B2B background within the construction and/or engineering product field and have an awareness of sales channels and routes to market.
- Comfortable working within a role with emphasis on operational management of marketing, to include strategic involvement as the position grows over time.
- Flexible to be based in the office 3 days per week and able to travel to Europe as required.
THE PACKAGE
- A basic salary in the c 60-75k bracket, pending on background/experience.
- Company car/allowance (electric/hybrid), management bonus, good pension contribution and a full raft of employee benefits.
THE LOCATION
You will be located within comfortable commuting distance to the office, based near to Hatfield & Welwyn Garden City.
