Health & Safety Advisor, based near Maidstone.

THE ROLE:

  • Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of health, safety, quality and environmental policy.
  • Overseeing & inspecting production facilities from a health and safety perspective, ensuring best practice and operational compliance.
  • Supporting project staff with RAMS and advice for site installation works.
  • Train and advise internal staff, inductions for new starters and regular updates of the companies safety manuals in accordance with legislation.
  • Maintain ISO standards for auditing.

THE PERSON:

  • Ideally seeking a NEBOSH qualified professional, with working experience as a health and safety advisor, officer or co-ordinator.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering or construction is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to liaise with colleagues, sub-contractors and train staff effectively on any safety related initiative.

THE PACKAGE:

A basic salary up to £42k. Full benefits package to include life assurance, pension and 26 days holiday.

THE LOCATION:

Ideally based around the Maidstone area to support an existing site 5-10 miles north of Maidstone before moving into the new site.
