Overview

Thornfield Care Home is situated on the outskirts of the lovely seaside town of Seaton, located on the world-famous Jurassic Coast. Thornfield Care Home is registered for 52 residents. We are looking for a special person who truly believes in bringing joy and sunshine into our residents\’ lives every day. With a genuine passion for the older generation, we seek someone who is sociable, creative, fun-loving and well-organised. Caring for our residents is at the heart of our business, but looking after someone\’s wellbeing in the next chapter of life goes far beyond watching TV and a game of Bingo! Driven by our team of Activities Coordinators, you help ensure our residents’ days are filled with fun, variety, and stimulation. Building rapport, understanding preferences and being inclusive of individual care needs (ranging from low-level support through to dementia and nursing) are key to success. You will join a values-led care home that is part of the Care Concern Group, a family-owned provider with over 100 care homes across the UK. We are expanding rapidly and are committed to delivering high-quality care and support. Our five core values guide everything we do: Trust | Respect | Passion | Kindness | Inclusivity. If you live by these principles, this is a place where you can belong and make a difference.
