Are you looking for a reliable role with great hours and a friendly team? We’re working with a busy timber company who are looking for timber yard operatives to join their team immediately on a temp to perm basis.
As a Timber Yard Operative, you’ll be supporting the team with:
- Loading and unloading timber deliveries
- Sorting, stacking and organising timber products
- Assisting with timber processing and general yard duties
- Ensuring the yard is kept tidy and safe at all times
- Supporting the team with basic manual handling tasks
No previous timber experience is necessary — full training will be provided. However, we’re looking for candidates who:
- Are reliable and punctual
- Are physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
- Can work well as part of a team
- Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
