A leading Cumbrian based support services company in the Workington area with a long history of providing a high quality service into highly regulated industries such as Nuclear.
THE ROLE
- Developing and reviewing technical specifications e.g. wiring and block diagrams, control system architecture, Instrument specs, functional design specifications, data sheets etc.
- Developing control philosophies and integrating feedback instrumentation.
- Specifying equipment suitable for harsh nuclear environments.
- Electrical design, design of control panels, safety-related instrumentation, and electrical systems for nuclear facilities.
- Production of detailed design packages, including CAD drawings, calculations, supporting design documents.
THE PERSON
- An Electrical Design Engineer from a highly regulated industry such as Nuclear, Chemicals, Energy etc.
- Proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical or similar package.
- Qualified to HNC, HND or degree level in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Proficient in commercial Electrical Design to a high level.
THE SALARY
£50,000 - £65,000 (negotiable) + benefits.
