We are looking for an ambitious and client-focused Trainee Financial Adviser to join a boutique financial advice firm in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has already built strong technical foundations through paraplanning and is now ready to transition into an advisory role with access to existing clients and ongoing support.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior advisers while gradually developing and managing their own client relationships. Existing clients are available, providing an excellent platform to build a long-term career in financial advice. Alongside servicing existing relationships, the role will also suit someone with the drive, confidence, and commercial mindset to develop new business opportunities and grow their own client bank over time.

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working as a Paraplanner
  • Strong technical and report-writing knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, personable, and client-centric approach
  • Ambition to progress into a successful advisory career
  • Appetite and motivation to generate new client relationships and business opportunities
