Paediatric Nurse
Location: Brighton
Shifts:
- 14:00 – 22:00 & 22:00 – 10:00 Monday to Thursday (during school term)
- 14.00-22.00 & 22.00-09.00 Fridays
- 09:00 – 21:00 & 21:00 – 09:00 (Saturdays, unwell & school holidays)
- 09.00-21.00 & 21.00-10.00 Sundays
Pay Rates (including holiday pay): £32.92 / Nights £34.88 / Weekends £39.64
As an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider, Thornbury Community Services recruits paediatric nurses to deliver bespoke care and support to young people, enabling them to stabilise at home and achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies, and take trips into their local community.
We are looking to recruit children’s nurses in Brighton with UK-based complex care experience to work with our 5-year-old client who has Cerebral Palsy, Dystonic motor disorder, and Epilepsy. They have no pets in the house and she is a very happy little girl who loves going out and listening to music. She has lots of equipment at home to help her stand, sit, and bathe comfortably.

Role requirements
We look for paediatric nurses with a minimum of 6 months in the last 2 years experience who are passionate, resilient, and highly skilled. To be considered for this role we require recent experience in the following key skills:
- Experience with Epilepsy
- Chest Physiotherapy
- Care of gastrostomy
- 12 months UK experience
- To be able to commit to at least 1 shift a week
