At Thornbury Community Services, we believe every child deserves the chance to live life to the fullest. We’re looking for paediatric nurses who want to make a real difference — helping young people stay safe, achieve their goals, discover new hobbies, and enjoy experiences that matter most to them.
Your role goes beyond clinical care. You’ll build trust with families, create safe environments, and empower children to take trips, learn new skills, and thrive at home and in their community. Every shift is an opportunity to change a life.
Why This Role Matters
Joining Thornbury means being part of something bigger — giving children the chance to grow, learn, and experience joy despite complex health needs. We are seeking a compassionate, engaging and reliable Paediatric Nurse to support a 14‑year‑old male client. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a meaningful therapeutic relationship, with the potential for regular ongoing work and shadow shifts to help you become familiar with the client’s needs and routine. Join a dedicated team focused on enhancing quality of life, promoting independence, and making a genuine, positive impact every day.
What We’re Looking For
- Compassionate and resilient, with a genuine passion for paediatric care.
- Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
- Skilled in key areas such as ventilation via mask, PEG care & epilepsy management.
Your Benefits as a TCS Nurse
- Professional Development: Access to free CPD and support with revalidation.
- 24/7 Support: Clinical and operational teams available whenever you need them.
- Employee Assistance Programme: Round‑the‑clock wellbeing support.
- Upskilling: Access to refresher courses and practical skills sessions.
