Relais & Chateaux at Thornbury Castle is seeking a Kitchen Porter - Kitchen Assistant to join our hard-working and professional 5* Hotel Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle supporting the operation in the kitchen, creating memorable and impressive experiences for our guests.

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.
Job Description
- 40 hours contract
- £12.71 per hour
- Will include evening and weekend shifts
- Use the industrial dishwashers to clean all crockery and chefs’ utensils
- Clean the Kitchen Areas following full Food Safety and COSHH guidelines
- Basic preparation of vegetables under the supervision of senior chefs
- Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures
- Support the team and help colleagues where needed
