Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our professional and hardworking Housekeeping Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests.

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program, bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar, and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

Our company goal is to deliver "refined and personalised hospitality" to enable our hotel to be a place where all guests can relax, enjoy themselves and have a break from normal life. To feel like royalty in a unique place with unique people.

£12.71 per hour, 20 hours per week - 11am - 2:30pm, 5 days a week, including weekend work.

  • Ensuring all hotel communal areas are cleaned and tidied to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and dusting.
  • Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including refreshing linen and towels, vacuuming and polishing.
  • Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities and collaterals.
  • Engaging with guests where required.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to Housekeeping manager.

Cleaning rooms can be very physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team.
