Thornbridge brewery in Bakewell, England, is seeking an experienced brewer to join our team working at the main production plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Wort production on our 50HL brewhouse
  • Cellar management including: centrifuging, transfers, stabilisations, dry hopping, cropping yeast, CIP of various tanks and equipment
  • Following our QA/QC procedures
  • Representing the company at various events and collaboration brews

The job requires a certain degree of heavy lifting and therefore the applicant must be able to lift 25kg sacks. Brewing education to IBD Diploma standard or equivalent is highly desirable, but not required. An attention to detail and high hygiene standards, as well as a passion for beer, are essential. Once fully trained you will join a five week rotating shift pattern between the hours of 5:30am and midnight.

Salary will be dependent on experience. We are committed to lifelong learning and will support any successful candidate in their continued brewing education.
