About Thorn SDS
Thorn SDS is a specialist Managed Service Provider supporting organisations and professionals across the Space, Defence and Security sectors.
We're looking for a proactive, highly organised Executive Assistant to become a trusted partner to our CEO and support the wider Senior Leadership Team.
This is a varied role combining executive support, business administration and personal assistance, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing business.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for keeping the CEO organised and focused on strategic priorities while supporting the smooth running of the business.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing a busy inbox and complex diary.
- Coordinating meetings, travel and itineraries.
- Preparing presentations, meeting papers and action notes.
- Supporting Companies House filings and corporate administration.
- Processing expenses and maintaining business records.
- Providing personal assistance to the CEO where required.
- Organising internal meetings, leadership events and company activities.
- Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
About You
You’ll be an experienced Executive Assistant or Senior PA who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities.
You’ll have
- Previous experience supporting a CEO, Director or Senior Executive (essential).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Experience managing busy diaries and inboxes.
- High levels of discretion, initiative and attention to detail.
- Experience with Companies House, governance administration, expenses or event coordination would be an advantage.
