Our client, based in Ilkeston, is looking for a skilled and motivated Production Operative to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in fabrication, cutting, welding, and measuring to join a well-established company.

Hours & Pay:

  • Days: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday) / 7:00am - 2:30pm (Friday) - £13.45 per hour
  • Afternoons: 1:30pm - 10:00pm (Monday - Thursday) / 12:30pm - 8pm (Friday) - £15.38 per hour

During training you will be on the day shift, after which you will move onto rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricating components based on technical specifications
  • Cutting materials to size and specification
  • Performing welding and assembly tasks
  • Measuring and checking the accuracy of work
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Strong skills in fabrication, cutting, welding, and measuring
  • Ability to work to precise specifications
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Own transport or based locally in Ilkeston
